Well I have completely changed my pricing on Fangs. It now starts from as little as R120 per pair (excl postage and packaging).

After receiving a lot of emails from people wanting to know whare they can get dental stone impressions made of their teeth, I have decided to start doing it again, to ease the suffering of so many, You have to let me know beforehand if you need impressions done for your teeth. It takes about an hour extra in the whole fang making process, so we need to take that into account when you set up an appointment. It will cost you R200 per impression made. Unfortunately, those wanting to order through mail, still need to supply me with the impressions (The Dental stone cast gets completely destroyed in the process, so you will not be able ot use it again)

One more note: Please, I cannot create fangcaps for teeth that are missing, and I also cannot work on teeth that already has had dental work done to them (I am now talking about braces and crowns. Believe me, once this fang cap snaps onto your braces, nothing will get it off)

How to Order

Well there are two ways to order: By appointment and through mail.

Before you place and order: Please remember one thing. You need to get a dental stone impression make of both upper and lower teeth, I do not work inside anyone's mouth . So before you place and order, please visit your local dentist and get a dental stone impression made of your teeth. It should have no imperfections. If you cannot find a dentist, or cannot find one that does not charge an arm and a leg for an impression. I will do it, but it will cost R200 per cast.

Also get the vita shade code of your teeth (your dentist will be able to tell you). This is important for me so that I can match the shade of your fangs to the shade of your teeth . It will be a code (A1 or B2 etc) or a number (59, 60 etc)

I am not responsible for any fangs where the dental stone impression was not professionally done and the vita shade code is incorrect

One last thing....the size of your fangs. Size is a difficult thing to gage, especially with fangs, seeing as no one's teeth are the same size or look the same. I usually use the following rule of thumb:

Small : The length of small is about roughly half the length longer of the tooth that is getting capped (remember this is an ESTIMATION)
Medium : The length of medium is about roughly between half and the full length longer than the tooth that is getting capped (remember this is an ESTIMATION)
Large : The length of medium is about roughly between full length and one and a half times the length longer than the tooth that is getting capped (remember this is an ESTIMATION)

For those looking for something smaller, I am busy working/testing a set that I call "Masquerade", this is a set that you can wear everyday, the length is just a small bit longer and sharper than your normal teeth, just enough to make people wonder about your dark side, but not enough for them to pull out the stakes!!

1) By Appointment:

This is the easiest. All you do is drop me a mail . We will make an appointment. Well the good news.....I have moved to Pretoria...Centurion to be exact. Basically you will come in tell me what you are looking for, I'll advise you on what might look better or compliment you on your excellent choice. As I stated on the intro, the appointment will usually be for 13:00 on a Saturday. You can then pick the fangs up on the follwing day at 17:00, I'll halp you with the fitting and romving so that you can get the hang of the fangs. I prefer the appointment method, as I can make sure that they fit 100%, and look 100%. Just one rule, I'm sorry, but you have to be over 18. Reason: There is still a lot of movement and growth in childrens mouth, wearing any dental piece, not supplied by your dentist could be damaging to your mouth.

2) By Mail:

Ordering by mail is just as easy. All you need to do is, mail me . I'll let you know if I have an opening. Then print out and fill in the "Fang Agreement" (click here for it) . You then make an appointment with your dentist, and let him make a cast for you of both your upper and lower jaw (unfortunately for mail order I need both the upper and lower jaw, as I need to make sure you will be able to close your mouth with your new fangs in). Also, and this is very important :Get your dentist to tell you the shade of your teeth . The shade will usually be a code like A1, or A3,5. I use this code to colour match the fang caps. I can take no responsibility for the wrong shade if your dentist gives you the wrong shade or you don't send me the shade at all. If your dentist cannot provide you with a shade, ask him for a button ( a dab of acrylic), of the shade that matches your teeth and send me that shade button

When you have all that, you have to decide on what kind of delivery you want. I use speedservices as I find them quick and reliable:

Collecting your parcel at the Counter : R80

Your parcel being delivered to your door : R120

Then just mail me, and tell me that you are ready to send, I'll give you my banking details (I only accept deposits, no schedules or credit cards), you then deposit the Cost of the fangs plus the the cost of your shipment of choice into my account, and either mail me the proof of deposit (use your name as reference on the slip), or Fax me the deposit slip (I'll supply the fax number on request), or you can include the deposit slip in the package with your cast that you send to me.

Next thing is, you bubblewrap your casts carefully and make sure that they will not be damaged in the parcel. Include the deposit slip (if you did not email or fax it) and the fang agreement. I will not work on any set of fangs without a filled in and signed agreement.

Then send it off to me (by what means, is your choice) , I'll let you know when I have received the package, and will give you an estimation on the time it will take.

When I am done, I'll let you know, and send it off to you via your shipping method of choice.
